All values and locations below are synthetic examples. They show how a report separates evidence, interpretation, and the next verification step.

Example: SPF passes, DMARC fails

A new test message shows beispiel.de in the visible From header. SPF passes for the envelope domain versanddienst.example, which is not aligned with beispiel.de. DKIM verification fails. Neither mechanism can therefore satisfy DMARC for the visible sender domain.

Evidence: SMTP peer, envelope sender, header From, SPF result, DKIM signature, and DMARC policy from the test message.
Recommendation: configure a valid DKIM signature for the sender domain or align the authenticated envelope sender, then retest the same sending path.

SPF pass alone is not DMARC pass. The report does not infer guaranteed inbox placement.
